CLOSED: Public Notice: Income Based Public Housing Waiting List

The Housing Authority of Newnan will be opening its Income-Based Public Housing Waiting List for bedroom Sizes 1 through 5.

This Notice is for Public Housing Waiting List ONLY.
The HCV/Section 8 Waiting List is CLOSED.

Applications Will Be Accepted: 
Tuesday, August 25, 2026 from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM

The last applicant will be accepted at 1:45 PM.

Required Documents for Every Household Member (Adults and Children)

• Original Social Security Card (Adults AND Children)
• Original Birth Certificate (Adults AND Children)
• Government-Issued ID for everyone 18 and older
• Proof of Income (if applicable) must already be printed
• All household members 18 and older must be present.

Please be advised that if you do not have the required documents, you will be turned away. NO EXCEPTIONS!!
